1. Soil

3. Plants

There are two categories of flowers; perennials and annuals. Annual flowers last only during the season, whereas perennials grow season after season. Annual flowers are marigolds, impatiens, begonias, petunias, and these flowers require more water than perennials. To grow perennial plan you need to plan a few things in advance.

If you intend to cultivate vegetables in your garden area, you need to very careful as some of them require more of sunlight whereas some require less. Growing flowers and vegetables on the edge will give a mesmerizing outlook to your garden area.

4. Water

Water is an essential substance for any garden area. You need to water your garden at least thrice a week. You can use sprinklers to water your plants, or a long water pipe can be very useful. Remember one thing always water the plants in the morning and evening.

5. Fertilizers

Fertilizers are very much beneficial for growing flowers and vegetables. It acts as a nutrient for the plants with two most important substances; nitrogen, which helps in raising the leaf growth and phosphorous, which gives power to the root. Try to use organic fertilizers instead of chemical fertilizers.

6. Mulch

Mulch acts a support system for the plants. You can buy it from outside or can create it by using grass nail clippings and leaf waste. It holds the humidity and weed expansion. Start with small planting and later expand the area with the coming season.
